A purchase of a Rainbow Hawk-eye by one of the World’s fair 1933 exhibitors, the faceplate has been embossed with a colorful “Century of progress” sticker by the purchaser who then either sold it to the patrons of the fair or maybe gave it away to prospective costumers.
The rainbow Hawk-eye is made in more different colours.
